UPDATE (2025): Our Clinic has moved! While we previously awaited renewed Saturday access to the San Diego High School courts, we are now excited to share that clinics are being held at Clairemont High School.

What

SDTF hosts a free tennis clinic designed for beginner to intermediate players. Clinics take place on select Saturday mornings from 9:00–11:00 AM, typically twice per month. Please check the calendar for exact dates. If a session needs to be canceled at the last minute, members will be notified by email.

Our clinics are led by advanced players with extensive coaching experience. If you’ve just picked up a racquet, this is the perfect place to start—expect guidance on everything from proper grips and stroke mechanics to footwork and on-court fundamentals. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, making learning feel natural and fun.

Many players build lasting friendships through this clinic. It’s an opportunity to grow your skills alongside others, while learning technique, strategy, and a few mental tips from seasoned players.
