About the Championships
The Club Championships is SDTF's annual "home" tournament contested only by our own members. The tournament has singles and doubles draws for every player level (Open, A, B, C and D). Note that this year (2024), the dates are very different.
2024 Dates and Times
- Doubles - September 7-8, 2024
- Singles - November 9-10, 2024
Match times will generally be between noon and 6pm. Some matches may fall outside of this window as required to accommodate the draws.
Location
All matches -- singles and doubles -- will be played at Balboa Tennis Club at 2221 Morley Field Drive, San Diego 92104.

Eligibility
The Championships are open solely to SDTF members in good standing. If your SDTF membership is not current, please join or renew now.
Ranking
If you have a GLTA ranking, you may not sign up for a division/draw lower than your ranking. Check your GLTA ranking here.
Entry Fees
The entry fees for the 2024 Club Championships are $40 for each singles player and $30 for each doubles player. Preferred payment is via Venmo to SDTF (@sdtf-ca).
Singles Tournament
- The Singles tournament will be played November 9-10, 2024.
- Singles entries and withdrawals must be received no later than TBD.
- Entry confirmations will be emailed no later than TBD.
- Singles draws and match times will be posted online and emailed to each participant by TBD.
- There will be no consolation draw.
Doubles Tournament
- The Doubles tournament will be played September 7-8, 2024.
- Doubles entries and withdrawals must be received no later than September 4.
- Entry confirmations will be emailed no later than September 6.
- Doubles draws and match times will be posted online and emailed to each participant by September 7.
- There will be no consolation draw.
